I'm sure everyone has heard about the fire on Prospect Street that happened not even a week ago. Due to this fire, there was one casualty and eighteen families displaced—people ranging from infancy to elderly. While we can't reverse the clock or rehome everyone, we can all do our part as a community to help them.
Here at Bessie Mae, we called East Orange City Hall and donated a van full of clothes for people of all shapes, ages, and sizes. Not only clothes but shoes and jackets, too.
The world is ever-changing and you don't know what can happen tomorrow. If you have anything—even that sweater that you planned to throw away—please consider giving to those who were left with nothing.
Stay safe and healthy guys!
